Michael and Marilyn Gallery

Michael Anthony Lowe is a Chicago based artist born and raised on Chicago’s South Side and currenly residing in Rogers Park with his wife, Chicago actress and playwright, Marilyn Campbell-Lowe. In June 2017, Mr. Lowe completed an Associate in Fine Arts Degree (Studio Art) from Harold Washington college.  His paintings have been seen at the:  2014 Harold Washington College, “Convergence/ Divergence Art Exhibit”; 2011 Harold Washington College, Architectural and Design Exhibit; 2011 TimeLine Theatre Company’s Union Members Art Exhibit; his “Hoodie Series for Trayvon Martin” at 16th Street Theater’s lobby show in conjunction with “Broken Fences” a play by Steven Simoncic; 2011 award winning film Jamie and Jessie Are Not Together, dir. Wendy Jo Carlton; 2012 Goodman Theater in Immediate Family, a play by Paul Oakley Stovall, dir. Phylicia Rashad, remounted 2015 at the Mark Taper Forum, Los Angeles, CA.  In 2014, Mr. Lowe’s photography was published in “Practice/Photography” a book featuring the best student photography produced in the Chicago City College’s Department of Art and Architecture.  Other artistic endeavors include: photography, video, video graphics and website design.   Prints of all paintings available for purchase.
